Kevin Cable Director/Dp Joins Native Films & Craig Whitaker
After checking around on the internet and talking with a few companies, I met up with an old friend.
Craig has had a film production company with multiple directors for years and has made a name
for himself. I met him at his facility in Miami and we worked out an agreement to see
how things will go for the first year. With a marketing manager and sales staff
I fell this should be a good mix.

Social Media and advertising agencies
With the new social networking more popular than emailing, production companies, producers
and directors need to re-think their approach to advertising. The ad agencies have all
pushed the envelope to the new sites of Face Book, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
In doing this, we as producers, directors and production companies must
follow or be left behind. I personally have been following as much
as possible to keep informed and to be more creative
in order to work with today's advertising agencies
and to be one step ahead of our
competitors.

Social Media and Native Films
Working with the new Social Media Creatives and Native Films of Miami
has been a good solid move for Native Films and for myself.
Native has been on board with the social media since it's start
and now they are in tune with agencies and clients. We are
in the mix! and there is a lot of new work to go around!
As a Director and a DP you have to think of your next move.
Your TV spots may play broadcast, and on the social
media network. They may be totally different in
length, especially on the internet! A lot of
media on the net can go 1-2-3 minutes
and then, their is mobile !
